Mr. Bones Barbecue is back for 2009. Rolet Internet Services is sponsoring our 9th annual BBQ competition at this year's 2009 American Royal BBQ.
Mark your calendars for Friday, October 2, 2009 and join us for our Friday Night Party.
In recent years, many of you have gorged yourselves silly with our brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken and potato salad. As always, 2009 will bring new surprises.
About American Royal BBQ
Take the parking lot around Kemper arena x 10. Fill it with smokers (for meat). Add 2 million people, 100 tons of meat and several thousand kegs of beer. We might be embellishing a bit, but it is the largest BBQ in the world.
For over 9 years, the event has grown to include live music, more people, better meat and colder kegs. Year 3 brought us 10th place in brisket (out of 500).
Helping Hands
Some helping hands will be needed to pull this off. Help can be in the form of bringing a salad, becoming a sponsor, or just being there to lend a hand or provide moral support (we need a lot). If you're interested in helping in any fashion please let us know.
